Eh, yeah right. For those who might not be so well versed in the figures of American politics (they DO exist, y’know), Mark Penn is the chief strategist to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and head of public relations mega-firm Burson Marsteller.

And as everyone who’s been following the race knows, not all is well in Hillaryland. I’d be tempted to launch into a massive rant about how Mr. Penn is showing blatant disrespect towards the democratic process and such, but that’s just silly. Mr. Penn is trying his best to patch up the RMS Hillary Clinton which has recently hit the iceberg known as Obama.

His statement, while applicable in the early days of the primary campaign, has a desperate ring to it when his candidate has been running down ten-to-nil against her opponent.
