A Bad Case (of) News
Well, the “big debate” between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is over and the results are in.
ABC news sucks.
Actually, I kinda enjoyed myself watching it. Sorry, but even a train wreck is entertaining.
Where debates are concerned, I often find myself annoyed at the way candidates fall back on, or side track to, scripted talking points. Why can’t they *ever* give a straight answer? And by “straight” I mean “not stage managed”. At least I found an awesome quote off Huffington Post, taken from user comments on ABC’s site:
Are you kidding me? “We don’t have much time left. Let’s have a MINUTE to talk about gas?” Charlie and George, you need a crash course on the distinction between “issues” and an “agendas.” Hint: The candidates have the former; you have the latter.
Also, FM is making noises about how this debate probably hurts Mrs. Clinton more than Mr. Obama. Maybe he’ll have something brewed up tomorrow morning - or would that be night?
