Outsider Opinion was set up as a place for a certain fuzzy fellow to vent his ideas about the American Presidential race…and a few thoughts about America in general. This blog currently hosts two writers - the FurryMalaysian, owner of this place and IowaJim.

FurryMalaysian is a 25 year old Malaysian with a strong interest in world politics. Mostly because the politics in his own country are about as dynamic as a block of concrete. The Furry is a known US apologist and Francophobe and has been following US elections since 2000 and backs both Barack Obama and John McCain in the current election…for differing reasons. His politics have been described as “Rooseveltian Republican”.

IowaJim is a 26 year old American from…guess where? He met the Furry during a yearlong exchange program in Australia and the two have maintained an occasionally lively online correspondence. Iowa is a flaming liberal and backs “anyone but McCain” for President. It used to be “anyone not a Republican”, but he doesn’t want to seem partisan. He’d have better luck pretending to have been raised in Harlem.
