Deja Vu Democrats?

Just remembered some hand-wringing about Ralph Nader. Apparently he’s polling relatively - you all know what that means with Ralph - strongly in Michigan. There are fears that, if the DNC fails to find a way to fairly seat Michigan’s delegates, the state could swing to John McCain in the General.

And the Furry said Ralph was irrelevant. Silly Azn :)
He needs to change the title of this blog too. I’m not Chinese and certainly not Malaysian.

Edit: Fine, fine. I’ll get too it soon - FurryM

Dear Ralph: You’re irrelevant.

Did anyone see this coming? Like, with all the big flashing lights?

Well ok, so I didn’t quite see this coming. Ralph Nader’s announcement came a little like a bolt out of the blue to me. Given the current candidate match-up (Obama/McCain), I can see where he’s coming from – somewhat. Neither has actually made his brand of consumerist populism the centerpiece of their campaign.

Then again, what does Nader expect to achieve? He barely registered even in single digits the last time around, and many democrats will never forgive him for what they blame as his role in tipping the 2000 election in favor (more…)
